North pole, south pole or somewhere in between?
I have a friend who works with the British Antarctic Survey, and spends part of each year living under the ice on the southern continent. His profession is heathland ecology. Gareth is not really in that line of business, so I wonder if we should elminate the poles and find somewhere with a more agreeable climate?
