BEWARE: Scammer Using This Website to Sell Viagra and Cialis

Are you aware that someone using the name "profilicus" is using this website to try to sell Cialis and/or Viagra? As a single, female, senior U.S. citizen I find this deplorable. Is there some way to block this unscrupulous use of UK Keratoconus website as a method of avoiding AOL and other scam-blocking programs and, thereby, luring an unsuspecting person, who is very concerned about keratoconus, to read profilicus' ad? I am aware that thousands of persons do use Cialis or Viagra and I understand they do serve a worthwhile purpose. Lately, though, there have been so many daily scammers trying to sell these sexual performance enhancers, but they are usually recognizable. This person, profilicus, fooled me. I was expecting some news about an advance in keratoconus treatments.

I too have just opened a message from Proflicus and was wondering how this could be avoided on this site. I was also fooled into thinking it was a message of importance .

WE have blocked any further posts from proflicus; the most difficult thing is that the advert was posted as a litter of private messages; it may be that we willneed to find a way to moderate the private message feature of the forum; previous spammers have always posted on an open forum where their advertising messages could be deleted.
I do ask that anyone who receives a private message that is 'off topic' should report it immediately to the Administrator or one of the Moderators.
I did not receive this PM, so was not able to take action until somebody told me of the problem.
On behalf of the forum, may I say that we deeply regret any offense that has been caused to members by the arrival of unsuitable messages in their Private Message 'Inbox'.

You 'check' the tick box next to the name of the pm you want to delete and then select 'delete tagged' from the menu.
