I have messages in my outbox which have been there for a while . Am I doing it wrong or have I beem blocked for some reason - if so why??

Helen,

The pm will remain in your outbox until the person you sent it too opens the pm you sent to them.

Some people change e-mail adresses so when a pm is sent, they never get the e-mail notification or they have turned this option off in their user profile. There is also pop up blockers which if they have set on their pc, they may not get the window saying they have pm, just a note a couple lines under the main banner.

That is why if I am pm'ing someone, I will put in a post with the persons name saying Mr XXXXX, you have pm so they know to look in their inbox.
