In your example Karl, URLs without the tags are only truncated on screen. This is good, as it stops forum width problems and avoids the horizontal scroll bar.

The non-opening in a new window is bad though.

Thanks for the fix code, I'll look at it later and probably install tomorrow.

I'll dig out this fix for this as well - first URL in quote not parsing,
