corneal collagen crosslinking

Hi All,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section or has been answered before.

I am 26 and have been diagnosed with KC for 2 years and have been going to the Hospital every year since and it stabilised for a year and now there is a change the Professor wants me to get corneal collagen crosslinking. I have read some forums and articles and the procedure hasn't been around for that long so I was wondering if any one else has had this?

I would really appreciate some feedback as i am a little worried and I might need to pay for this myself as my local hospitals don't do it.

Thank you,

Chhabs

Hi Chhabs and welcome to the forum,
If you put 'crosslinking' into the search for this forum, you'll find quite a few people who have had this done, and if you put 'blog' into the search you'll even find a blog of crosslinking by one of our members. And I'm sure some of the people with experience will tell you how they found it. It was invented too late for me!
