I have recently got contact lenses for my Keratocous. One of the lenses i was given has been sent back because it was too close to my cornea. I have still got the other one to practice putting it in, after 10 minutes my vision is cloudy around the edges of the eye. Has anyone got any idea's to why this is?

Hello ant1 welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure that I can give a definitive answer to your question, but when I had a similar sounding problem, early on in my time with contact lenses, my optometrist advised me to be careful to ensure that I completed my 'blink'. Evidently I was leaving a film at the edge of my lenses by not completely closing my eyes when I blinked.

Do you mean completing my 'blink' as soon as the Contacts go in or all the time. I do complete my 'blink' and it still happens.

Completing your blink every time you blink.
