hi,
lately i have been having more trouble with my rgp lenses and the other day went to my appointment with my eye specialist and i told that my eyes are all sore and all she said well nothing seems to be wrong but she not the one who has to wear them. Now i dont no what to do , feel like i have hit a brick wall and it feels like i have no one to ask or talk to. also recently my left eye seems to be getting worse and when i took my lens out the other day my vision was rather blurry and the corner my eye was sore and hurt to blink, does anyone know if i should continue wearing my lenses???
what to do next

Re: what to do next
I have the same problem with the help i get from my local nhs trust, for the last 4 years i have been using RGP lenses, and curently have 2 of completely different designs and sizes, (the left is around 9mm across, but the right is 14mm across) and for the last year they have steadily become more and more uncomfortable, even though i mention this every time i go, my appointments have now been changed from 3 months to 6 months! i really dont know what to do next.

(Darren, welcome to the forum).
I would not wear lenses that hurt my eyes.
I would ask for an emergency appointment and tell the optometrist that I could not thole the lenses and ask if there was another design or lens material that might suit me better. They may suggest piggy backing or soft lenses or sclerals.
Every good wish.
