Who (no pun intended :) ) knows what time line the TARDIS ends up in and did the Master die after the battle on the Valiant afterall the last thing we saw was a gloved hand picking up a ring ? :?

Are these questions to be answered? am I just complicating matters? Should I contact Russell T Davies with these ideas? Or is my imagination running riot as usual ? :)

The title "Doctor's Daughter" and the build up to the programme did promise more than was delivered, but it was still a better than average episode.

You can feel the series building to a good conclusion, but I'll not be buying the dvds of the early episodes!

I am inclined to agree with you Andrew regarding the build up but it was a neat twist to produce his daughter from a tissue sample, saved complicated questions about time lines. :D

Do you suppose we'll see Jenny again at some point in the series after all Rose is popping up everyso often?

Did you know that the girl who played Jenny is Peter Davidson's daughter?

Yes, I knew that 'Jenny' was played by Peter Davison's daughter. She was at school with Colin Baker's daughter so has 'Doctor Who' in her blood. Her first line "Hello dad" must have been a bit special as the daughter of an earlier doctor. I am absolutely certain that we will see her again.

I didn't think that I was going to get to the point this series when I was actually looking forward to the next episode. maybe I'll buy the DVD's of the second half of the series and just draw a discrete veil over then first half.

My pal Sandy McDonald was in the episode with Felicity Kendall. He played a footman serving drinks in the garden and appeared a couple of times. In one shot they framed David Tennant and Sandy together.

Why is this significant; David Tennant's own name is David McDonald and Sandy is his dad! :D

Andrew,

Is it going to cost to speak to you now? :D

I did enjoy the episode maybe not the wasp, but at least we all know why Agatha Christie disappeared for 10 days. :D

I'm going to Stratford to see the good Doctor and Captain Jean Luc Picard in Hamlet in July. I will let you know how it goes.

Oh well, the series finale came and went: the way they found the regeneration crisis was predictable and a bit pedestrian (lazy writing), the promised 'death' turned out to be a 'virtual death', but for all that there was a lot of dramatic tension in the story line.

I am not sorry that Mr Davies has gone on to other projects.

Am I looking forward to the Christmas special and next year's special episodes? I certainly am.

Well, I have to say I enjoyed this latest series of Dr Who. I wasn't sure how Catherine Tate would do but she proved what a good actress she is as things progressed.

Peronally I felt the final three episodes were very good considering Russell T Davies wrote them! and of course Stephen Moffatt's contributions were excellent as usual, hopefolly he can maintain the standard when he takes over.

We await Christmas and the Cybermen with baited breath, who will acompany the good Doctor on his adventures?
