The Doctor and his dad

Postby Andrew MacLean » Thu 15 Nov 2007 6:16 pm

David Tennant's dad will appear in an episode of Doctor Who next year. The Very Rev Dr Sandy McDonald was visiting his son while they were filming an episode, I think with Felicity Kendall. Sandy was on the film set and the production team suggested that he climb into a spare period costume and make himself useful by playing the unscripted and non-speaking part of the butler.

How cool is that!?

Well Andrew, that is indeed spooky and cool 8) . When the episode comes around, you'll have to let us know which costumed extra was being played by Sandy!
