Looks lovely Andrew - you are very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country.
But Devon looks pretty good to me as well - here's a picture taken this morning by my son in "Stoke woods" near Exeter (he sent this as I was replying to the Edinburgh post!)

Andrew, Andrew, Andrew.
Bite the bullet and get yourself a decent, non phone, camera!
You obviously have an eye for a good picture and some lovely scenery to play with.
Go on, you know you want to

Somebody complimented me on my driving yesterday - they left a note on my windscreen "Parking Fine" which was nice.
KC managed with softperm lens in left eye, Intacs (2/11/07) in right eye

Yes, I know I want to.
Today I nearly did, but I bought a pedometer instead. It is wonderful; it counts the number of steps I take, calculates the distance I walk, works out the number of calories I burn but it does not take photographs.
Oh well; another day.

That must be a serious pedometer if it cost you the opportunity to purchase a digital camera! Last time I checked you could get a pedometer by sending enough coupons to Kellogs!
Is that the Duck Bay, by the way? Beautiful.
My dog used to love swimming in Loch Lomond every week. I got some pictures too..

Re: Autumn at Loch Lomond
It is a pretty snazzy pedometer but it only cost a couple of pounds: a digital camera, which would not count the number of paces I took, calculate the distance I had walked or the number of calories I had burned would cost over £100. The one thing that the camera would do is take photographs. I think I need a camera.
Great photos, Matthew. Be careful about letting your Newphie swim in the Loch. Some tourist is likely to take a pnoto (so long, that is as they have not packed a pedometer instead of their camera) and start a hunt to rival the one ongoing at Loch Ness!

Re: Autumn at Loch Lomond
ps
Matthew, I just re-read your post. No, we go to Ross Priory at Gartocharn. My wife is a non-golfing member of the Ross Priory Club and we try to go at least once a month.
Actually my work often takes me to the other side of the river so that we can combine the necessities of employment with the pleasures of a visit to a favourite place.

Re: Autumn at Loch Lomond
A-ha! I like Gartocharn, very nice. I'm still confused about the pedometer / digital camera thing Perhaps there is a market for a pedometer with an integral camera? If you think about it makes sense, you are most likely to see things worth taking pictures of whilst you are out walking!
I like the Newfie comment. They are monsters That was my old Newf as we are in-between dogs right now On sunday we went to Balloch (Maintaining the Loch Lomond connection), and took a look a gathering of Labradoodle owners and about 20 dogs. Aren't they great! Suffice to say, we won't be between dogs for mush longer Next spring is our planned D(og)-Day
