Matthew

If I were trying to reduce the image size on my Mac, I'd

1 open the image
2 find the "Picture" or "Image" menu in my control bar
3 Scroll down to zoom
4 "zoom out"

This does not affect the definition of the picture

OR

I'd find the same menu
scroll down to "size"
Select "Scale"
Choose what picture width would be good for me
let the computer adjust the height to resize the picture

This would affect the picture definition, so if I was going to save the changes I'd select "save as", so that the original file would be unchanged.

Matthew

It's a good thing you took that on Sunday: you'd only get rain today!

Yuh! I cycle to work too! Soaked to the skin this morning! Just found out my waterproof jacket isn't and got a puncture to boot!
But I still wouldn't swap for a car! :D

Where possible; I walk. Where I live it is too hilly for cycling! Actually, I quite like walking in rain, but this morning was a bit of a challenge even for me

By the way, I rather like your new sig icon. I used to wear flared denim jeans (and desert boots), and it is nice to see them making a virtual return. You don't know where I could buy a pair in the real world, do you? It is so hard to get stylish clothes these days.

Flared jeans were back in then out it seems! I wore a pair to death last year as they seemed easy to get. It reminded me of my youth and I wore them until there was very little of them left. Don't seem so easy to get now, perhaps we have moved on...
Desert boots on the other hand are all over the place. You can even get US special forces ones on Oakley.com but watch out for the price tag: ouch!
I got rid of the signature, I liked it but the web was creaking under the weight! The site was very slow last night, I hope that wasn't my fault!
I will try and get a smaller animation, watch this space or the space below anyway!
