Off to Madagascar!

Postby Vic » Sun 08 Apr 2007 11:44 am

Well, as the title says really :D
On Tuesday, Vic and her rucksack are heading off to Madagascar for 6 weeks for my medical elective. I'm going to be working in a tiny French-speaking mission hospital in a very isolated area in the north of the island. Really looking forward to it, this is something that I've always wanted to do. So yes, see you all in 6 weeks, take care everyone x

ps - someone with moderator capabilities or similar, would it be possible for me to have a Madagascar flag as my avatar? I looked on the flag list and there isn't one there, but they have lots of them on google images.

Vic

all the best for your trip; this is really exciting and you will be doing important work.

When you get there, find an internet cafe and let us all know how you are getting on.

Don't forget to leave a saucer of water for the wee dog!

Louise are we talking about real life doggies or ones in Vic's signature? :)

We both have lots of doggies Michael and have shown pictures here!
I have about 20 including K9 and Vic has left Spot and Pads with me.
Of course they're real!!
