Award nomination

Postby Louise Pembroke » Sat 24 Mar 2007 2:38 pm

I've just received formal notification from the mental health charity Mind that I have been shortlisted for an award, the 'Mind Champion award', it's for contribution to mental health work or campaigning. They have asked for my permission to add my name to the shortlist on Mind's website in April then people vote for the winner. I'm so moved that people nominated me, it's such a generous thing to do, I'm gobsmacked.

Lou, I am sorry if all this embarasses you, but it's just that we want to share your excitement at a nomination that is well deserved. Even if you were not to win the actual award, the work you have done is recognized in the nomination!

All the best
