Anyone look at the lunar eclipse last night?

I discovered that looking through binoculars I was able to see it (as in only one!) so clearly with no multiple moons! It was beautiful and the colours were fantastic!

Yes, I was out there peering at the moon. It was lovely.

Unfortunately, even with a tripod, I was unable to get a photo of it in "red" state, though managed a lovely photo when it was illuminated.

Hubby and I were in and out watching it, well it was a bit chilly. I actually counted 12 moons as I looked without the aid of binos aren't I the lucky one :D
It was something not to be missed.

I saw it. The shadow of the earth spread across the moon and then the moon glowed a reddish brown colour. Whenever the shadow began to move away from the moon, there appeard a slash of bright light as if I was looking at a new moon in the early evening.

Absolutely breathtaking.

I wasn't aware of it until sunday. All I knew was my star sign's full moon, didn't even look at the sky. I was really disappointed I missed it.
