Not So Grumpy now

Postby Anna Mason » Mon 26 Feb 2007 5:51 pm

Back to work tomorrow and the sun is shining. I am back to wearing my contact lenses for a limited period so I am doing the old eye swap (one at a time) and everyone thinks I am winking.

Went to my Art Class today and finished a fantastic landscape. Everybody said how good it was and they were right its magic.

Rode my gorgeous horse in the Olympic sized sand arena. Everyone thinks I am trying to look mysterious as I am living in my sunglasses. They do look pretty cool even the horse fancies me!

Going to Oxford Eye Hospital in March 22nd so I'll ask the great ken about flexi lenses.

Anna

I'm glad to know things are getting back to normal. All the best at work tomorrow.

Hope work is going OK.

Good to hear about the painting, I find painting easier without lenses, but I don't do landscapes.

Work went ok thanks. The first thing I did was take my left lens out (I will now refer to my left eye as my telly eye).

Changed all my PC settings using the guide on this site - Thank you everso why on earth I have never set my mouse pointer up to be a funky big black arrow I will never know.

Asked my boss for a larger PC screen (strike while the sympathy club is around)

Worked diligently

Put left lens back in

Drove to Horse rode horse

Drove home took right lens out

Now the really pants bit....

Your computer cant hear you scream ....
I think my little cat is on her way out we are both going to take her to the vet tomorrow night and I am probably going to have to be brave which I am rubbish at. The hope is that now that I have written this she will perk up and prove me a liar.....

Anna

A few weeks back, I thought my dog was on her way out! She stayed in for 36 hours and we thought we were bringing her back to die with dignity. :(

She has made a remarkable recovery, she can walk again, although still appears drunk at time and her head is permonantly tilted to one side, but she can get in and out the house to do her stuff. Today she surprised me by trying to take over a tugging game I was playing with the other dog. :D

Hope your trip to the vets with the cat proves to have the same positive neding as my trip with the dog has been.
Gareth
