Problems Logging in to forum?

Hi
Has something technical been done to the site yesterday or today? I am finding that despite ticking the box "log me in automatically"(or whatever it actually says to enter the forum) it is not doing this. I am having to enter my login details every time. Has anyone else had the same problem or is it my computer having a bad day?
Many thanks
(Wasn't sure where to post this - should it have been under help and advice? Sorry if it's the wrong place...)

Pat,
Will investigate once back at my normal PC.

John has been doing a lot of work on the forum but i don't think it would keep logging you out like that. I haven't had any problems.

Back at my normal pc and it has launched straight into the forum.
John will be better to answer, but could you have inadvertantly removed the 'ccokie' that gets downloaded and change your pc settings not to accept a fresh one?
I am more a button pusher when it comes to computers rather than being able to trouble shoot problems.

Thanks all - I am now in "private" correspondence with the technical man - John !
It seems that a major upgrade on my Antivirus/firewall software (McAfee) may be the culprit - but I don't know what to do to sort it and John will help me out!

Ask him for the same service Sweet gets and he'll come round and sort it for you

Sweet,
All I am saying is the committee should not get any preferential treatment over our other users
I am sure John would help everyone on an individual basis if at all possible. think it is just in his nature to help like that.

Hey watch it little Gareth!!!!
Hey Sweet whats the significance of the "little"? and whats a ccokie?
The problem I am experiencing Pat is not like yours. Its when I progress with formulating a blog on line and then it crashes and I lose everything

. It only occurs though on this website not others I blog on!
Anyone else have this problem?
I suppose the best practice is to compose the blog on MS word, copy it, come on line here and paste it!
