Mobile Phone MP3 player screens

Postby Anna Mason » Sat 03 Feb 2007 1:27 pm

Apologies first that I havent been on here for ages and now I am leaving notes everywhere.

1) I wear glasses with my lenses to read.

2) I bought a mobile phone with MP3 player camera etc because I needed a funky toy.

The phone I got was a W850i and was great but the signal was very poor so i sent it back

I have now bought a W810i and am sending that back because the MP3 player screen was.... Orange with White Writing and I needed my glasses and a telescope to read it (only joking about the telescope) and as I use it when I am riding my horse its a bit dodgy holding the phone and hunting for my specs

The point is the W850i has a very clear screen and when you change the theme the MP3 Player changes so you can have white writing on a black background.

Do any of the gadget gurus out there who understand the need for gadget funky lights mp3 player phone and radio all in one have any phone recommendations. I want to be able to listen to music with or without headphones and see what I am playing?

but like i said the new nokia ones are great.

also sony ericcson have good ones.

id just look online and see what you like and ask to see them instore.
anyways all you KC people get out there and try things you are scared to do it will amaze you the impact it has on your self esteem and confidence.

Can't beat the Nokia 6210, it is six years old and still going strong.

Keys are large enough to see and the text is larger than even that which I have seen on the lates Nokias.

I use a Nokia 6131. It has nice big keys and clear text, but it does not seem to be an MP3.

Did I hear somewhere that Apple were going to produce an iPod phone? This sounds such a delicious idea that I think I need one, even before I know for sure that such a thing exists.

Yes Andrew, you did.

The phone is (currently) called the iPhone, although Apple are fighting Cisco in court over it, as Cisco currently own that name.

The iPhone looks absolutely gorgeous. It's a cross between a phone, internet-enabled PDA and iPod... it has only one button (the on switch!) and a touch sensitive VERY high resolution phone... and it runs OS X, so in theory could run some Mac applications too!

I already want one!

is it in the shops or has the law suit delayed production?

The more I hear of it the more I think that I really need to have one.

I'm afraid that it won't be in the UK shops until Christmas. You could get it (cheaper) in the States from the Summer, but may have difficulty pairing it to a network.

I don't actually think Apple need to call it the iPhone any more... the publicity already, and that generated by the trial will make iPhone the unofficial name whatever they come up with!

i bought a Sony Ericsson k750i recently and am very happy with the themes, a simple to use program allows you to design your own - so i did a black/white/red theme

Black background, white text (red when highlighted)

this works for me

myThemeCreator
Lasyk Networks, Inc
http://www.lasyk.net

This Program works on all new Sony Ericcson models and a few others (nokia etc)

or for user made themes available to download for many different models http://gallery.mobile9.com/
