Louise,
As long as you can swith the thing on and off along with making and receiving calls what more do you need from a phone?

Need to text too, and I tried adding names/numbers, one was added to the SIM, another to the phone [I don't understand the difference], and even following the instructions I still can't find out the credit balance, argh!
I did manage to make the wallpaper plain and correct the time/datebut I don't know if I've set the ring tone. Sad innit!!

Storing to SIM means if you transfer the card to another phone, all your numbers will be transferd too.
Storing to phone means should you have to replace the SIM, they are already on the phone and can be moved to the SIM.
Can be done in reverse, all numbers on the SIM can be transferd to the phone memory.
Can have the benefit of increasing memory size for numbers. The other benefit is my phone works on US as well as European networks, however it is cheaper to have a seperate SIM for the US. Keeping all the numbers on the phone means just changing cards depending on which continent I am on.

Ah thanks Gareth! Yes the guy in the shop said that I could get a global sim thingy if I wanted to make/receive calls worldwide

For years I was the only person I knew who was still using a brick. Then I got a foldy phone just in time to see everybody move up to sliding phones.
I don't think I could work a Motorola Razer V3. But my Nokia 6131 works for me just fine. If only it weren't behind the wave of technological innovation.
Ah well. Such is life.

Hmmmm. Is that good? I seem to have a T Mobile account and they keep sending me a bill then subtracting the amount from my bank account.
I think I did have an Orange contract once, but they wouldn't let me change my contract and keep the same number (they do now), so I moved to One 2 One (now T Mobile).
Every so often they contact me and offer me a phone upgrade, so I'm going to get one of those sliding phones next. does the Motorola slide or fold?
