The ordering mechanism of the website forum does not appear to work for my last post sent today here and appears to be trying to keep my contribution hidden. Anyone care to explain why?

Steven,

Were you trying to reply to Jayuk's post?

The thread is still on the main board, your link works and my wife managed to post to it, but at her request I deleted her test post. By doing this, it eliminated and moderater influence that may give me prefferential treatment.

Therefore I have no explanation as to the problems you may be experiencing.

Thanx for this pm Gareth. If you have read my post of 3-12-06 and also my reply on it today to Jayuk on the above link you will know that I cannot respond to your pm because I have been denied that privilege
by you and your colleagues/the committee, the powers that be on this website.

Subject: Forum into disrepute!
Hi Steven,

I asked a genuine question in that Were you replying to Jayuk, you could equally of wanted to add more to your statement or edit the post you already put.

Therefore please do not accuse me of being dumb or playing dumb.

I have looked at your post and when a respose is made it goes as high as anyother post that gets a reply in that it will always be below a 'sticky' or an 'announcement' which has always been the case on this site.

Please refrain from being hostile towards me or at least do me the courtesy to explain why you feel the need?

Regards

Gareth

No I was not replying to Jayuks post of yesterday on the thread "Bringing the website into disrepute", my post precedes Jayuks. I have replied to Jayuks post now today though following your above post.

When you post on this forum you will note that the thread and post date goes to the top of the listing on the front page. This never occurred with Jayuks or my post on the thread "Bringing the website into disrepute"
yesterday or today. In fact according to the thread on page 2 (BTFID "a moved thread") of chit chat the last post was John Smiths at the end of October which is clearly incorrect.

I note that you are unable to solve this mystery and seeing that you are a committee member I would have thought you would be able to do that.

Sorry if you feel that I am being hostile to you.
I hope that you understand that I am just fighting for my rights here. At least you have the privilege of sending pms to others in the KC community here, I dont. Presumably that was your and the committee's decision Gareth?

Regarding hostility, plse Gareth inform us were does banning and censoring and denying people their rights to communicate rank on your scale of hostility Gareth?

This is my final post on this website.

If anyone does send me a pm on here plse dont be offended if you dont receive a response, I dont have that privilege thanx to your committee.

Merry Xmas everyone

A very sad ending to a very sad episode.

When I read through the posts it appears to me that sometimes offence is taken when none is intended and then things go from bad to worse and conversations take place at cross purposes.

I wonder whether a few phone calls could have resolved this more amicably?

Michael

Probably..but what we all forget is is WHY the post was closed and the people banned....there was nothing ever wrong with the post, it was the name calling, homophobia and childish like replies that caused this issue.

It is sad to see people not post, and I do think that Steven may have misinterpreted what had happened, but it has, and he has chosen to be be apart of this site.........unless he changes his mind theres very little we can do

Michael P,

I did read and copy and paste onto my file archives the original message that you wrote. Just as I have everything previous that has been removed.

Not very friendly or nice, but at least you have shown your true colours which I find representative of the committee's management and decision making culture on this website.

Did you make the amendment "error" on your own initiative or was that action prompted by someone else telling you what to do? If it was someone else, who would that be?

What I find quite unusual as well is that normally when you edit a post it details the act of "editing" a post as the footer of the page yet that did not seem to happen on this occasion!
