Casino Royale

Every bit as good or bad as a Bond film can be. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as indeed did my wife.

Behind us sat a little phalanx of young men (boys really ... out on their own to the cinema for the first time). Their chat in anticipation of the film was a treat and their commentary on the action was more entertaining than the film itself. if you get a chance to see the film, try to arrange to sit in front of boys who are attending their first film independent of their parents.

Andrew

I just saw the movie!

Have to say I was impressed with the long chase in the begining with the other guy with the rucksack!

Good twist at the end!

Good movie overall! As I didnt think Mr Craig would pull off a Bond Role!

Sometimes he seemed to be impersonating Sean Connery. Clever filming when they made the building collapse.

Good value at 2 hours 20

Yeh def agree.....although I think I heard \ read a rumour that from now on no actor will play more than 3 bond movies.......still think that Pierce Brosnan is a hard bond to beat!

I'm probably on my own with this, but I sort George Lazenby was a very good Bond.

He would have been had he had more time to grow into the role. Everyone's first bond movie is not as good as their following ones. For evidence, watch the first movie of each Bond and the last one. Miles apart in terms of quality of acting.

Michael,

At last something we agree on :D
I too think George Lazenby was a good Bond, he should have been given a chance. If I have to put my Bonds in order it would be:

Sean Connery
George Lazenby
Pierce Brosnan
Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton.

I haven't seen the new one yet but hope to catch it soon.

Best film has to be OHMSS.

Ifound this website which may interest all Bond fans out there.
