Well what are we thinking.
I enjoyed it. It is bobbins but fun.
Quite a change from Dr Who though. I know they always said it would be aimed more at adults but I was rather taken a back. I don't know how many parents are going to react when they realise that this is the show so heavily marketed through a kids' show.

No, Torchwood is heavily promoted as an Adult programme.
Doctor Who is heavily promoted as a Family programme.
Neither are promoted for children. It was always clear that Torchwood was going to be adult in nature. In fact Russell T Davies has stated that he added swear words near the beginning to make sure that children wouldn't be watching any further!
Not seen it yet though, will comment more when I have.

I watched both eepisodes of Torchwood.
I was glad to see the new doctor's original hand was preserved in something-or-other. His replacement hand may need to be replaced in which case all he has to do is pop off to cardiff and visit Cpt Jack H.
For my part, I think that I am going to enjoy Torchwood; althpugh, it is a good thing that I had not expected it to be like Doctor Who.

Did you know Torchwood is anagram of Doctor Who?
I suppose you probably knew that but I was impressed!
Matthew, I did indeed.
I am wondering what the attraction is. Is it the adult content or is there actually a decent story line as well. If it's like, say, Star Trek TNG then I would be interested.
