I feel soooo guilty going away for a week's golf to Portugal and leaving my wife behind

Thanks for your kind wishes Anne.

Normally I would say my wife would have a ball without me but her invalid father currently lives with us so unfortunately I won't be around to help.

Playing golf is a problem. Fortunately my playing partners are well trained to keep a close watch on my every shot. Of course they can't pay attention all the time and sods law dictates that when they are not,I will hit the ball off line into the long rough and nobody was looking. So yes, I do lose more balls than I should. There are some blind golfers around but obviously they need a lot more help.

Hi Lesley, I had a great time thanks, though my golf was shocking. A lot of balls disappeared never to be seen again, at least not by me!
