My dear lady has just shown me an e-mail she got asking if she would like to buy/lease one or both of the following aircraft;

For charters or long lease programs Antonov-26 with TCAS on ACMI
conditions.
Aircraft is located in Nikolaev (Ukraine).

My wife thinks this Illusion will make a good summer house!

For sale (1200000 USD) or long lease programs the aircraft Ilyushin
-76TD year of manufacture 1985, with TCAS and EGPWS on ACMI
conditions.

At least with the Illusion water bomber I will beat anyone when it came to a water fight :twisted:

The Antanov will give me plenty of room for my current hoard of cars and allow for some expansion of the collection :lol:

She thinks the planes will fit where the apple tree is which leads me to conclude she is completly nuts :shock:

Whats the strangest thing you or your partner has been asked to buy?

When I decided to look up information on a keratron topographer, google informed me there was one for sale on e-bay.

I has a high reserve but still, could prove cost effectifve in the long term!

Perhaps the group should save up for one and we take turns having topography done at socials, AGM's and confrences :D

The strangest thing we have ever been asked to buy was when my 7 year old asked for a mobile phone!!!

We said NO.

Then i went on about how quickly they grow up these days, and sounded just like my MUM!!! :lol:

I actually have my eye on a 1993 Mercedes which is up for sale at €1000000 :D

Unfortunatly I did not win the lottery, so that is on the back burner too :(

I think the Mercedes is more practical than the Antanov! The plane does have a lot of space (understatement). How cool would it be to convert it into a house as you said. It would be brilliant, I love it. I think your poor dog might be a bit confused though?

Matthew,

You might want to rethink the Mercedes practicality.

This is the luggage space;

This is one of 25 cars ever made and the price is now €990,000.

I might be able to afford it if the price comes down another €980,000 :lol:

Gareth,
If you could afford this car, why would you need luggage?

Matthew,

If I did win the lottery and purchased the car, I would need some luggage space as I fear I would end up living in it :lol:
