Err yes Louise, I remember that match.

I think Newcastle had plenty of help from Dermot Gallagher as i recollect :(

No no, I'm sure we didn't. If we had, he'd have noticed Jens Lehmann's blatant assault on Super Scotty Parker! :P

Come on, give me something here, I'm a suffering Newcastle fan. Even that plank Uri Gellar tried to steal our thunder a few years ago when we beat Arsenal 3-1 at Highbury!

<sighs> those were the days...

Oh dear Louise, things don't seem to be getting any better for you.

I do have a soft spot for Newcastle (after all, they are no threat to us) so I hope you don't think of me as the enemy.

Have you noticed that most KC sufferers appear to be highly intellectual with no interest in football? I totally don't appear to meet the criteria :(

We are no threat to anyone! Especially with Titus Shambles at the back. Bramble is the most frustrating player, he is a great passer of the ball, never bottles a challenge, quick and good in the air, but he always manages to do some howler <shakes head>

The ridiculous thing is we've spent more money than Wenger has in his time at Arsenal, but while your team has been making shrewd signings like Fabregas etc we've wasted money like you wouldn't believe. poor management from the clown at the top.

Ha! No clearly I don't fit into that categorie either. At least you follow a successful team though

Bramble sounds just like our dear departed Pascal Cygan.

I suspect the only difference may be that Bramble has a little more pace.

I couldn't believe it that you managed to actually get a transfer fee for Cygan, Granted I didn't see him play much, but what I did see wasn't wonderful...as a Newcastle fan I'm great at spotting dodgy defenders

Spot on. I thought the best Arsenal would get was a free transfer or wait until his contract expired. I suppose it is the Ebay thing; people will by anything!

Well Charlton decided to cough up £2m for Amdy Faye - how a player who can't even pass the ball makes it to 3 premier league clubs is beyond me!

Still it could be worse, we could be in Tottenhams position  :P

Well, about to pick up my winnings next week! :-)

Yes, yes Jay, you are wonderful. I thought I would delay replying because I hate people who gloat  .

Come on then, how much did you win?
