Tiger Bishop

Postby Anne B » Mon 14 Aug 2006 9:20 am

Well after years of putting it off, the children won and we brought a hamster!!
His name is Tiger (my youngest is a little confused and keeps on calling him Loin  )

We are trying to train him so the kids can really enjoy him . So has anyone got any Hamster tips that they can share with us?

Thanks Gareth but thats not much help. :D

We gave tiger cucumber this morning and i was really pleased to see that he had eaten it.
But then Megan has just informed me that Arron my youngest had helped himself to it.(Arron loves cucumber) :o How nice.

No tips Anne as we're guinea pig 'addicts' but as we're many peoples first port of call to look after their pets while they're on holiday we have looked after a fair few. The last one was supposed to be looked after in his own home but I felt sorry for him all on his own in an empty house so I hamster-napped him. Imagine me tearing down the road with a massive hamster cage and my two girls worried silly and running after me telling me off and urging me to take him back. My eldest spent ages trying to get him to run round on his wheel but he never did. :(

How's Tiger doing? Has he settled in well? Is he still sharing his food with your youngest? :D
