Seen a car that has cough my attention, but need someone in Yorkshire area to give it the once over and to tell me iff the car is a runner and how sound it is underneath!
Any takers?
I know you guys are going to ask why I am interested? It's a bit different to the usual motor you commute to work in!
All the funky Police bits still work too

Gareth, surely you couldn't use the car on the road as it is kitted out as present.
Couldn't someone stuck in a time warp (Dr Who perhaps) confuse it for the real thing?

My understanding is that as long as the blue lights are covers and a not in service over the Police on the roof bar, it is perfectly legal to use as an every day car.
What I want to do is put the 2.9i Coswoth V6 that was fitted in the later Granada's and Scorpios.
This would give the 1982 beauty late 90's performance and about 100bhp increase to about 250bhp!
Engine swap is easy as they use the same block and mountings.

I can't help you out Gareth but I'm having a smile at all the gossip you'll generate if you have it parked outside your house.

I also have the option of purchasing the following;
Selling off the current fleet of three cars will give more than enough to ensure the emergency fleet would be immaculate at all times

Let me guess what your favourite tv programmes are Gareth.
Heartbeat
Casualty
London's Burning.
Am I right?

Completely wrong, can not stand any of them.
Don't really have a favourite TV program, I just like big machines and if they are not big, good old fun is fine by me.
