Oh dear, one of my little bunnies finally got hold of the Easter egg and has run away with it! LOL!! There was a little trail of choccie pieces and muddy paw prints and i can't find him anywhere!! :roll:

Oh well, now there is only one bouncing bunny left and he is all alone ... so am looking for something new now to keep him company! LMAO!!! :wink:

How does it come about that your rabbit bounces two hops to the left, turns and bounces only one to the right before turning and bouncing two to the left and then turns to bounce back one hop to the right only to turn and have room to bounce two hops to the left, and so on?

(although on second thoughts the bunny and the carrot might not be a good combination....)

Thinking that yes the carrot would be gone with Thumper, but very nice all the same! I just need to find a flying pink fairy now! LOL!!

Ok I am sure Thumper would really love the carrot as did my Pinky, Perky,Cottontail and Flopsy (ok, my daughter's rabbits before the jokes come flooding in). So where do rabbits find carrots in the wild. Basically it is us humans wot give em carrots, lettuce etc and too much of these things as far as i am aware is not good for bunnies. Dandelions are yummy the above mentioned used to say - sadly all deceased bunnies now

. Dried food is also good.

Ok, I now wait to hear from bunny experts, vets etc telling me I don't know wot I'm talking about.

Rabbits are not native to the UK, they were introduced from mainland Europe.

Dutch carrots are apparently blue.

Therefoe orriginally rabbits may have been able to find carrots in the wild.

Apparantly, all carrots were originally blue skinned (with orange interiors), but because there is not much blue food, the blue was removed by selective breeding in the 19th century.

I know that Sainsbury's launched a blue carrot a couple of years ago to much fanfare, but don't know what happened since.
