Lottery notifications!!

Postby jayuk » Sat 15 Apr 2006 12:34 pm

Dont you just hate it when you log into your email and you get a "We Have News About Your Ticket!" from Camelot (for those that play the Lotto Online)..only to find its £8.50 or £10!.....and you dam well know that its not the Big One! lol

And whats more sad, is that I know I am not going to win it but Im a bit superstitious with numbers thats Ive used since its start and sods law would be that they come up when I stop playing them!!!!

No, don't gamble. I have always been a bit worried that I might win.

Hehe two things here!

Firstly i have played once when it first started, it was a Christmas lotto and i won ten pounds! I said then to stop as i wanted to end on a winning streak and knew exactly how much money i would be throwing away on losing!! As found out by some of my regular family members who incidentally haven't won anything!

Secondly picking regular numbers is another thing that would seriously worry me!! The very fact that your numbers COULD come up on the very day that you haven't played could drive you mad!! I would rather be selective and have fun choosing new ones if i ever played again!!

But best of luck to all who do play ... i;m sure that the odds are with you!!!!  :P

Spot on Sweet.

My uncle used to do the football pools.

When he stopped he still religeously checked the numbers, why I have no idea.

Needless to say one day he discovered he would have had a decent win. Sorry not sure how much but it just confirms your point
