Hospital Closure Part2

Postby jayboi2005 » Sun 09 Apr 2006 8:29 pm

Hello all,
you may remember me a while ago when i started on about hospitals closing. And how i spoken of my local one closing. Well, after such an out roar from the public and lots of protests (peaceful) and lots of local media attention the local primary care trust had a board meeting and decided that they were not going to close it. That's great 8)

As far as i know NON. But then again other than money there was no real reason for closure.

Jayboi

We live with the constant threat of hospital closueres. first they are going to close our local hospital, then they are not, then the closure is on again ... and in the meantime it is becoming harder to attract staff to a hospital whose future is in constant doubt.

I think that the result of all this is that our hospital may just close itself, leaving them with the fig leaf of having decided not to close it and us with the same outcome.
