Well actually...
Whenever ST try and show what Geordi sees with his visor, I feel tempted to suggest he gets his money back.. that is if they actually used money in the 24th century! It always seems totally weird and how he is supposed to recognise anyone I have no idea! He apparantly sees in the more esoteric parts of the electromagnetic spectrum which doesn't actually help if you are trying to use normal consoles on the Enterprise.

Which time frame? He has eye implants now! (And again, you'd think they could get a better match with normal eye colours... the new implants you can see miles away in a Ferengi rainstorm!)
