NNnnooooooooooooooooooooo!

[stern_mode]
Although the board stood up quite well under the heavy load, we do have to remember that bandwidth isn't free, and I'm paying for it.

Well, actually, I'm not, but only because I have spare capacity and the KC site uses up the bandwidth that I've already paid for and was not using.

However, yesterday's logs showed us using three times the normal bandwidth... whilst a single such day wouldn't put the site at risk (of being moved to a slower, less reliable server, but one we are not charged for) a regular event of mass IMing it isn't.
[/stern_mode]

Please feel free to use the board as intended; as long as we're not too silly, all will be fine.

Oh yes, Jay spotted the forum going down for a couple of minutes earlier... he wrongly surmised that was so that I could take a backup... I was also installing a mod which will ensure that posts to the chit-chat area are not counted!

John

Agreed; I think the board did do very well in all honesty....even though there were pauses when we all went mad...and in all honesty at once stage I did think we may take it down lol!

I dont think youll see that again though...as we al did go mad! Blame it on the sunshine and boogie!

John

Can you take note of the people that instigate this (IE Gareth! he is like the fuse to a bomb...and then blames the bomb for exploding!) :-)

Yes we did say that we might get into trouble and that chat seemed like a good idea, would be a lot less frustrating there as well! LOL!!

But we have all been good and apologised and won't do it again!

Though Gareth i do wish that you would keep better control where your underwear is concerned!!
