Anti-ageing cosmetics

You'll probably think I'm nuts, but when I see these adverts on TV about collagen boosting/skin firming anti-wrinkle creams for women in their 40's I can't help wondering if it would do my corneas any good!
Surely some of the knowledge they've gained from that research must be of use?
