That's a coincidence Michael - There is now a large gap between my chair and the wall... the chair is migrating towards the plasma.

Problem is though at 3 feet away from the screen, I can see the JPEG artifacts which seem to have been introduced purely so that Sky can charge me £10 per month to remove them.

As I can't see them from my chair, I can save the money on the HD subscription!

Lol John.

My wife was very pleased when I told her I wouldn't be going for HD because it would make no difference to me

Heh

I just cancelled my Sky ssubscription on the grounds that I dont actually watch any of the non free to air channels any more.

Any I am still in a state of nervous wreck since last years Champions League final - talk about nail biting.

Will be cheering on the a**e this year though.

Yeah that would be good, I will be cheering Arsenal on.

Certainly raise the profile of English footy on the continent, which can only be a good thing.

Michael,

I am sure your sacrifice will be appreciated.

Mind you if the venue has a big screen TV we may excuse you to look at the match.

Thank you Gareth. I hope to receive a special award for gallantry and a 21 gun salute.

I was even hoping John would take pity on me and rearrange the social for the following week when I am sure it would be more convenient for everybody and a few more would probably be able to attennd. John :?:
