Pat - I sure am. It was a mamouth task..as the pics are only a small part of it. It was the upstairs and all. The hardest part of it all....to be honest..was Plastering! I tell you...that is a skill!.....I think I spent around 9 days total on a single wall...applying it, removing it, applying it to get used to it.....as I wanted to make sure I was getting a good finish and surface!...and as I plastered practicalls all internal walls and bonded them...it took aaaaages!.

Plumbing to be honest was the easiest bit....as I had knowledge of Plumbing before....electrics were not too bad...they just required all the boards to come up and then sockets chasing into the walls....and then ensured that they passed Certificaiton due to new Part P regulations.

Anyway!...shall we shall next week? lol

Sweet! I forgot to mention! I have put Underfloor heating in the bathroom! :-)....courtesy of http://www.handyheat.co.uk excellent system and easy to install!..

Yup! however the newer systems work on wire and coil.....so theres minimal risk in term of leaks and floods. As its basicvally a wire that you set before you lay the tiles, an then feed it into a electrical spur. Pretty impressive to be honest as it warms the entire bathroom up..

and! cough cought Air Conditioning in that front room! as in the picture lol lol....I went abit mad to be honest....but I got a good deal on the units so got it installed....as they were calling my name from the boxes as I saw them lol

Jay That fire place you knocked out of your messy old living room, I have one and i LOVE IT  I have victorian semi with loads of features i would never knock them out.

Well done anyway it looks lovely.
Don't do what we did and spend ages and loads of money on doing up a house only to find out you are pregnant again and have to move
I am still very bitter about that one and its been nearly 4 years since we moved. I need to get over it

Well done, Jay - a fantastic achievment.

As you're qualified, would you still need to have your electrical work inspected? I thought that the qualification was to avoid that!
John
