Lesley
That is very kind of you and much appreciated.
I watched part of the game at my husbands golf club last night, as we went up there for a meal, surrounded by Spurs supporters who were less than complimentary!
I just cheered, supped my wine and waved my Arsenal wrist band at them!!
A serious thread - Arsenal 2-1 Man Utd!!!

Yes Lesley I thoroughly agree with Pat.
Your generosity is much appreciated and because of it I have decided not to open up a new thread dedicated to our magnificent victory.
In truth, I think you are very fortunate that Sky + stopped when it did because I thought Tottenham were dreadful towards the end of the second half and extra time. They appeared to be exhausted and I found this quite surprising.
I wonder whether there is something wrong with your Sky + set up because it should automatically record to the end of a programme even if it is running late. As I recollect this is one of the benefits Sky list in their advertising blurbs.

Indeed, Michael... but ONLY IF
1. The user has padding set to AUTOMATIC, and hasn't stretched it to prevent this sort of thing from happening

AND
2. The broadcaster bothers to update the EPG on a live basis.
Now, most people leave 1. alone; but only the BBC (and, I think Channel 5) bother with no. 2 for all programmes. Sky One does it occassionally; but the nature of that channel means that it doesn't happen very often. Certainly, ITV don't bother with it. I've lost count of how many times The Bill starts at 7.57 and a bit and the default Sky+ behaviour is to start recording at 7.58. I rarely lose a lot, but it is very annoying.
