"The Eye"

Postby John Fontanini » Wed 28 Feb 2007 8:04 pm

Here's a new film in the making that you might (well, not entirely) relate to.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0406759/

Plot Outline: "The remake of the Hong Kong film "Jian Gui", a woman who receives an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world."

I wonder if they'll let all of us be extras :D

My transpalnts enable me to see the natural world more clearly: far more useful, methinks!

I've got the dvd of The Eye and the sequel by the Pang brothers with english subtitles, their films are very good. If you like films from the 'Asian extreme' series also try the Japanese version of the Ring trilogy, not the Hollywood version. Asian supernatural/psychological thrillers/horrors are infinately more classy

The bin is a good place for dvd's like that one. another possible use for them is as coasters for drinks.

Indeed Andrew.

A blank dvd which has failed to record is often referred to as a coaster.

A friend lent me that movie a couple of weeks before my cornea transplant. On a similar note, another friend hired the movie alive for me to watch the night before flying back from Canada.

I'm beginning to think I use the term friend too loosely. :D
