No, Morton is a football team, based in Greenock and a very good team they are, too.

Andrew, I was only pulling your leg.

Of course I know who Morton are.

I thought the full name of the team is Greenock Morton or has Greenock now been dropped?

I don't know that they were every really called Greenock Morton, the Greenock bit was just to let people know where they came from.

A bit like Glasgow Rangers. I think they are really just called Rangers, but the Glasgow bit is tagged on so that people do not become confused with Berwick Rangers.

Well denner I'm sorry to hear about your Brizzle Rooovers affliction.I'm told you can get medicine for it though!

As for me, you should know by now I'm green and white through and through, although having watched Yeovil capitulate to Scunthorpe this afternoon, the faith has been tested to the limit....ahh there's always next week.

I also keep a close eye on Manchester City and my family-in-laws claim to fame is that many moons ago one of my wifes ancestors was a famous footballer who played for Queens Park. Therefore I keep a keen eye on the Spiders too!

Glad to see you back again on this thread and that you are sooo happy.

If Tottenham win again I suspect we will be hearing again from the three musketeers; well maybe not Anne for a while because she had her graft today. Fingers crossed all went well.

Im a Liverpool fan but have not lived anywhere near there for over 10 years now, manage to get to a couple of home games and maybe the odd away one each year. In order to get my fill of football I have taken to fanatically supporting Swindon Town as well, currently fighting for promotion from league 2.
