Warden sounds very apt actually. Dignified and caring, with just the hint of guard dog.
Kinda like Buffy's Watcher of Frodo's Ranger.
Although I do have to say at this point that you don't know hao lucky you are to have a name people can actually spell. I shall never get back the hours of my life I has spent trying to get people to spell my name - it was even mispelled on my medical records at one point!
I blame the parents!
