Love the latest set of BBC "glossy" dramas though: Hotel Babylon, Spooks, Hustle and Life on Mars. They all manage to avoid being too formulaic. I ought to add the new Doctor Who to that list, but that one goes without saying!

I'll go along with Lesley's list too (though I've not watched House, I think it looks good). Not keen on ER though (sorry).

Who, Dwarf, and Wars
I suppose that since I've been to Dr Who conventions, Star Wars marathons (film and video/dvd) and Red Dwarf used to be filmed up here and so sought out the actors in various guises (Rob Llewelyn/Kryton is an excellent author and commedian) that makes me an addict, oh and the hubby's a trekky who speaks Klingon (shouldn't that be Q'lingon) oh and my daughter's called Holly! spose would have been more obvious had she been a boy.
In terms of format's its got to be the ultimate flexibility of DW that does it, and I have to admit to bobbing my head back and forth in time to the title music, kidlike I know, but I've tried watching without it just isn't the same!

Hi Tammy...
Hope Manchester is still the same old place I remember!
Actually, you are spot on about the music. The DW signature tune is nothing short of brilliant considering how it was made. It was a completely electronic creation which has stood the test of time. For those who are interested in how it was done way back in the early '60's, check this link out:

Hi All,
Due to technical problems, hubby's been playing silly b*****'s with the computer again!! (he might know what he's doing but it's still a pain) I haven't been able to log on till now but I just wanted to say I like Hustle and also New Tricks. A favourite from times past was Poldark, Robin Ellis can have the top off my walnut whip anytime but not my last Rolo!
