Sorry, but that's just the sort of thing that I have to spot at work.

We have a third party in to write the code for our tills. With all the things that a supermarket cashier can do these days, it's amazing that the till software works at all.

Still, we do occasionally find bugs. I work on the Payments side, so I 'm concerned with us not collecting enough money from the customer... or even worse, collecting too much.

One occasion a few years ago saw me talking to one of the third party programmers about a particularly difficult to locate bug which saw occasional customers being "rewarded" with literally millions of points - certainly worth several tens of thousands of pounds of free shopping had the customers noticed (some did!).

The chap concerned announced that it was a "one in a million bug" which he would never be able to find. My retort was that as we serve 8 million customers a week, you're telling me that the bug was likely to "fire" at least once per day.

Funnily enough, half an hour later, the bug was found and fixed!

Well.....

Having read both Billy's biographies by his wife, KC didn;t come up funnily enough... and since Billy talks quite freely ... waaaaaayyy to freely.... about every single possible bodily function know to man, I am fairly sure he wouldn't pass up the comic opportunites that juggling contact lens wear and poor vision would avail him. I can just hear it now...

"Have ye ever put one of those **** wee thingies in yer eye? I mean, what sort of ijit designs a bit of plastic that falls out faster than it goes in?" hehe - He could get at least three shows out if it!

So I could say, John, its a milion to one chance he hasn't got it ;)

Oh dear

I know people who venture their hard earned cash each week on a lottery ticket on odds like that! so he probably does.

Perhaps BC's KC is so mild he is unaware of it?

Now that could be. Or again, maybe now that he lives in California there is so much agreeable weather that it doesn't bother him.
