Glad you're still happy, despite losing all your data! Presumably, you either have a spare PC, or you've sorted the problem out... or you wouldn't be on here!
I was having similar problems last weekend as I was moving a hard drive to the new PC, and then realised that Windows wouldn't let me access my data - so it had to go back in the old one... which Windows firmly refused to boot without re-activating, which it couldn't do because the LAN card was different. Grrrr. Many hours in DOS for me, too eventually got round it!

What a man! Loses his data and laughs at it! I'd spiral downwards through panic to despair.
I'm good: To avoid the circumstances you describe, I use a Mac. It goes out of its way to help me not to lose anything.

I've lost my reset button cos I poked it a bit too hard with a pen and it's now somewhere inside the computer! My previous computer gave up completely and announced its operating system was missing and to this day I've no idea how I managed that one! Hubby says I'm not fit to be let loose with a calculator never mind a computer. And as for the state of my car - well that's another story, suffice to say the left side is the same colour as our house ...!

Well, Saturday my daughter had a friend round so my wife and I acted as referee between two dogs and two kids.
Today I am trying to get the office warm enough to do some work.
Sooner we get new projects in, the sooner I go back to my normal job of 5 days per week and flex days instead of six days per week, no flex, but hey I am getting paid well for it. Just being careful of the tax situation so I do not loose my extra cash to Gordon Brown.

Dogs and children ... cold work place ... dogs and children ... cold work place ?
Sometimes choices are easy, and sometimes they are not.
Still, Mr Borwn needs to raise cash for the Queen's Corgis
Isn't it good to know that we can all do our bit?

I am ok and thanks for asking! Am busy working a long weekend and trying to write up some eye conditions and treatment to laminate it to put on the notice board when i am on nights the week after next. It is kinda easier on nights when we get a slight calm moment around three hehe!
Am also struggling to move, more in that the place i want isn't decorated and now i seem to have a new place i want to see living with a girl and two others, she has been asking me to see it for the past month. I just didn't take the time to ask where she was amongst all the mails i got and now it works out that it is in a better place than the one i already have so i need to see it next week! I would go on Monday night as she asked but it is the doctors leaving do so i really need to go to that!

Hehe too many parties and not enough nights to fit them in!! I can't believe that six months have gone so quickly and we now have the fun of meeting new doctors and showing them the ropes!
All fun but slightly hectic right now amongst too many family problems to name, but you know i can see so everything is fine!! LOL!!
Hoping everyone is ok, take care

Just when you have waited six months for a flat to come along, several arrive all at once! Sweet, all the best. Life has a way of becoming very complicated, and it can't be easy to project that aura of professional calm that is the hallmark of AandE nurses when so much is going on around you.
You are ever in our thoughts.
