KC in the workplace

Postby John Smith » Thu 02 Feb 2006 7:52 pm

The Keratoconus Group's employers' leaflet is now available in easy-to-print A4 PDF format from the web site home page (you can't miss it - it's on a bright yellow background).

You may like to print it out and hand it to your boss or HR department. If nothing else, it may get you a larger screen on your PC!

The leaflet is really useful! I have printed one out and given it to my twin sister as she uses a pc everyday in work so thought it would help her.

I am very lucky in having a boss who being a nurse is very interested in health conditions and has looked KC up herself! I honestly think she may soon know more about it than i do! LOL but that is a nice thing as i do get all the support i need and indeed had all my annual leave given back to me when i was on sick leave. :)

Yes this is excellent, I've been emailing it to my friends. Did the committee put this together John? Are you going to send this further afield? It needs to be seen.

The leaflet has been a combined effort from the comittee and people posting on this board.

The hardest part was possibly getting enough money to get the leaflet printed.

My employers coughed up some of the dosh which helped a little. :D
