Hi all, After a very worrying and stressy 7 months since Charlotte's hydrops I just wanted to give a quick update after her visit to see the specialist last week at Hull Eye Clinic, we are now coming up 7 months post hydrops LE (story on here somewhere) and the latest is that her LE has healed "extremely well" and Mr Stewart expects it "to improve more over the next 1 to 2 years", he said that he is very happy with Charlotte's progress and that the results of her V/A was much better this time (with specs plain glass left eye, script in the right), he said there is certainly no need to "rush into anything" (graft surgery). Good news as back in Feb he recommended graft for later this year/early next.
Char is very used to her specs now and wears them properly and not on the end of her nose!

She doesn't wear them in the house tho, but keeps them on without any prompting when out and about (Staff at daycentre confirmed that she keeps them on all day).
So onwards and upwards, of course, we don't know what the future may hold re her vision and we also know that her vision isn't tip top either but she is very happy and tbh you wouldn't know she had an impairment unless you saw her writing/reading, she has her head really close to the paper if specs not on.
We continue to be led by Charlotte and how she is about all this KC malarky
Back at eye clinic optom nx month to see if Brian Melia can tweak that RE script for her specs just a wee bit.
Thanks for all your help and advice.
