Hi All

Been a bit concerned recently. I wear one RGP in my right eye, i have noticed a red bloodshot mark in the corner of my eye around 2 months ago, mainly appears when im at work and the air con is on. I saw my eye specialist last month and she thought it was a burst blood vessell and said it should clear soon. It seems to have been worst today which has worried me. I had three days off work last week and the redness had almost gone but today is worst. Could be dry eye and i have been using drops, but still the redness remains

Any advice please??

I get this a lot at work with the air con too, the whole eye goes bloodshot and sore like hayfever. I used to use dry eye drops but they didn't seem to help much, just making my contact slide a lot.

I have learnt mostly to live with it now, but I carry soothing eyewash around with me and take my contacts out for a half an hour and wash my eyes.

Try the eyewash and break
