Milton Keynes RGP fitting

Hi,

I have been suffering from KC for the last 2-3 years, I have been getting by with glasses but my left eye is still pretty poor with vision barely corrected. I have tried to get consultation through AXA with no joy and so am currently awaiting a referral to Moorfields at Bedford (having been messed around by my GP since early January!). I am due to get married in late April and would love to be able to wear contacts on the day but am finding soft lenses increasingly effective than they were.

Is anyone aware of private practioners in the Milton Keynes that might be able to fit me with RGP lenses?

Hello sidebp and welcome to the forum,
Have you looked at our list of KC friendly optoms at www.keratoconus-group.org.uk/optoms/index.php Although there isn't one in Milton Keynes, there might be others near you that you could try.
Have a wonderful day in April!
Anne

Thanks for the quick reply; I have used the directory and contacted a local practitioner - fingers crossed I'll make some progress.

All the best.

Brian Tompkins in Northampton is fantastic. Not too far from Milton Keynes? His practice is Tompkins Knight & Son.
