SynergEyes Ultrahealth

Postby russell s » Wed 30 Jan 2013 5:22 pm

Was just reading about SynergEyes Ultrahealth hybrid lens. Looks like they have just been introduced to the market.

Anyone tried them yet and if so how are they working out?

Thanks,

Russ

Hi

I have been in Hybrids for just over a year and I find them great. I have tried RPG's and didn't like them. They give the clarity of the hard lenses and the comfort of the soft.

They get a big thumbs up from me.

I don't know about these but I wear Synergeyes Clearkone lenses and have found them to be excellent!

Many thanks all for the feedback.

Mind you they're not cheap. I've been quoted £380 for a pair, replaceable every (6) months. My NHS hospital informs me that they will not subsidise Hybrids for KC and just wonder if others have found this also?

What joke :(

People get all sorts of help and items because they're a requirement of their illness. Yet we can't get many things that we need due to KC :(

I tried the Clearkone lens and vision in the daytime was excellent. But at night the lens had some halos and flaring to lights. Removing the lens was difficult to impossible when the eye dried out and I even had to go to the doctor at the hospital one night to get it out. laughing at myself..they fail to tell people that the lens must be wet and fingers dry..I hope the Ultrahealth is better for the eyes with higher oxygen passage. I have heard great stories on the hybrids with a number of people but others with dry eyes don't like them at all.
