Kerisoft lenses - fitting process?

I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere on the forum...
I am 31, have relatively advanced KC in both eyes, one eye crosslinked about 18 months ago, and currently have Rose K lenses. However I have been having serious lens tollerence issues over the last few months, suddenly dropping from 10+ hours wear to 2-4 hours wear a day max, which is seriously affecting my ability to work, and quality of life.
I have been advised Kerisoft lenses may be the answer...
I have an NHS appointment at St Thomas's in mid-January for contact lens trials, but not being local to St Thomas's, am concerned about the number of visits which may be required/cost/time without lenses before each visit etc. I have the option of going private, with a local optician listed on this site as being KC friendly...
Please can anyone advise how many visits it normally takes to get Kerisofts fitting properly, and if possible, give me an idea of ongoing day-to-day costs, required number of visits per year etc, for both private and NHS options?
I realise KC is never the same for any two patients, but any info gratefully received!
Thank you in advance.
Ian
