Confirmed KC

So I just had this confirmed by Mr Peter Pawson and his team with the use of a cornea scan and the works. I have something kinda strange I was told since I have a classic mild keratoconus as well as cornea thinning to only half of what is normal but without the eye looking like it is actually bulging or going cone shaped. Im booked in now to see if the hospital can get a decent lens fitting and that is with Mr Pawson again who is listed on this site as having a special interest in KC. I did get told however that it might be very difficult to get that eye to decent vision because of the abnormal thinning.

any ideas?

It must be a relief to have it confirmed at last. We often talk of KC being a 'bespoke' condition with no two KC eyes being the same. So it can take more than one attempt to fit a lens that gives both good vision and is comfortable. But you're in good hands at your eye unit, so I'm sure you'll get there!
All the best
