Eyesight good to drive

Postby Andrew MacLean » Tue 15 Nov 2005 2:46 pm

I heard from the DVLA. They have agreed, without a test, that I can see well enough to drive. I guess they contacted my Ophthalmologist and he confirmed that I can see!

I wasn't sure, so I contacted them and the woman on the phone confirmed that it was so! All I need now is insurance and I'll be back on the road again.

I suddenly became lens intolerant (and thereofer blind) in March 2003. I've not driven since then, but after surgery and a long period in which my graft remained unstable, things have eventually settled down. How are things with you?
