Hi I am Laura ,
I am currently looking for a specialist in the Newcastle area with good experience in keratoconus. It would be good to know about
places where people received good service.
Thanks.

Hi Laura,
The Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle sees quite a lot of people with KC and has a good reputation.
Hope that helps.
Anne

Sorry Laura, I'd forgotten that on an earlier thread you'd told us that you were looking for someone to interpret topography scans for your sister who lives in Bolivia. Many NHS ophthalmologists also see patients privately, so the hospital would be able to tell you whether any of their corneal specialists do this. Alternatively, if you go to keratoconus-group.org.uk/optoms/index.php you'll find a list of optometrists who see KC patients. There are two listed (one in Newcastle, the other nearby) and they should also be able to help you.
